浙江师范大学数理与信息工程学院的前身是创办于1956年杭州师范专科学校的数学科、物理科以及1984年成立的计算中心;19946月,计算机系成立;199910月数理与信息科学学院成立;20009月计算机科学与工程学院成立;20036月专业调整后,数理与信息科学学院更名为数理学院,计算机科学与工程学院更名为信息科学与工程学院;20063月,数理学院和信息科学与工程学院合并成立数理与信息工程学院。

学院现有教职工253人,专任教师195人,其中教授70人,副教授67人,具有博士学位教师140人;院士1人,国家“千人计划”专家2人,国家“外专千人计划”专家1人,国家杰出青年基金和优秀青年基金获得者各1人,国家有突出贡献专家2人,国家百千万人才工程2人,钱江高级人才(省特聘教授)3人,教育部“新世纪优秀人才支持计划”入选者3人,教育部“骨干教师资助计划”1人,省“新世纪151人才工程”第一、二层次入选者13人,省高校中青年学科带头人20人。现有全日制本科生2445人,在校博士与硕士研究生356人,在职兼读教育硕士100,留学生112人。

学院现有五大系:数学系、物理系、计算机科学与工程系、光学工程系、电子与通信工程系;有十个本科专业:数学与应用数学、信息与计算科学、物理学、材料科学与工程、光电信息科学与工程、计算机科学与技术、软件工程、网络工程、电子信息工程、通信工程,其中数学与应用数学(含师范)专业为教育部“专业综合改革试点”专业和省级优势专业,物理学(含师范)专业为国家级特色专业和省级优势专业,计算机科学与技术(含师范)专业为省级重点专业,软件工程(含国际化)专业为省级国际化和中英合作办学专业,电子信息工程(含国际化)专业为省级新兴特色专业;有数学1个一级学科博士点,数学、物理学、计算机科学与技术、统计学和软件工程等5个一级学科硕士点,物理电子学和系统理论2个二级学科硕士点,以及软件工程、教育硕士(数学、物理)2个专业硕士点。

学院拥有1个教育部、国家外专局高等学校学科创新引智基地(图与网络优化),3个省一流学科(A类)(数学、物理学、软件工程),1个省级重中之重学科(计算机科学与技术),1个省级一级学科重点学科(数学),3个省级重点学科(理论物理、凝聚态物理、光学工程),1个省级特色学科重点学科(图与网络优化)。学院拥有2个省级重点实验室(光信息检测与显示技术、固态光电器件),1个浙江省重中之重学科实验室,1个浙江省重点科技创新团队(新型固态光电器件与技术),2个省高校创新团队(数学、智能信息处理)。3个省级实验教学示范中心(物理教育、电工电子、计算机科学,其中前2个为重点示范中心)。学院现有实验用房使用面积10650多平方米,各类教学科研仪器设备总值1亿余元。学院与校期刊社共同主办有影响广泛的《中学教研(数学)》公开出版刊物。

学院在办学过程中,秉承“数通古今、物格万象、信达天下”的院训精神,发挥理工学科与师范教育的综合优势,积极为社会培养高水平人才。一大批毕业生已经成为国内外知名学者、首席科学家、各级党政部门领导、中学名师、企事业单位负责人及技术骨干。

 

 


Introduction to CMPIE

College of Mathematics, Physics and Information Engineering (CMPIE) of Zhejiang Normal University (ZJNU) can be dated back to the Mathematics and Physics Department founded in 1956 in Hangzhou Normal College, and later it was incorporated with the Computing Center which was established in 1984. In June of 1994, the Department of Computer Science was set up. In October of 1999, College of Mathematics, Physics and Information Science was founded. Then College of Computer Science and Engineering was established in September of 2000. With the adjustment of major subjects, the College of Mathematics, Physics and Information Science was changed into College of Mathematics and Physics, and the College of Computer Science and Engineering was changed into College of Information Science and Engineering in June of 2003. In March of 2006, College of Mathematics and Physics, and the College of Computer Science and Engineering was incorporated into College of Mathematics, Physics and Information Engineering (CMPIE) .

There are 253 staff in the college including 195 faculty members, among which 70 are professors, 67 are associate professors, and 140 faculty members with doctorate degrees. There are a group of elite talents in our college, including 1 academician, 2 experts from the national program of Thousand Talents Plan, 1 expert from the national program of Thousand Foreign Talents Plan, 1 talent from the national program of Excellent Youth Fund, 2 experts who has won the honor as the National Experts with Outstanding Contributions, 2 talents from the national 100, 1,000 and 10,000 Talents Project of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, 3 talents from the provincial program of Senior Yangtze Talents, 3 talents from the  New-Century Supporting Plan for the Excellent Talents program of the Ministry of Education, 1 talent from the Supporting Plan for Core Faculty Members program of Ministry of Education, 13 first-rate and Second-rate talents from the provincial program of the New-Century 151 Talents Plan, 20 talents from the provincial program of the Leading Academic Youth Plan. There are 2445 undergraduate students, 356 and postgraduate students for Master degrees or Doctorate degrees, 100 part-time postgraduate students and 112 international students in the college.

There are five departments in our college, namely Department of Mathematics, Department of Physics, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Department of Optical Engineering, Department of Electron and Communication Engineering. These departments cover ten undergraduate major programs, including Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, Information and Computer Science, Physics, Material Science and Engineering, Optoelectronic Information Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Technology, Software Engineering, Network Engineering, Electronic Information Engineering and Communication Engineering. Among these major programs, the program of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics (including teacher education program) is the Comprehensive Pilot Reform Program of the Ministry of Education and the Preponderant Subject of Zhejiang Province. The program of Physics (including teacher education program) is the National Featured Subject and the Provincial Preponderant Subject. Computer Science and Technology (including teacher education program) is the Provincial Leading Subject. Software Engineering (including internationalized program) is the Provincial Internationalized Program and Sino-British co-operation program. Electronic Information Engineering (including internationalized program) is the Provincial New-and-featured Subject. There are 1 Doctorate program of mathematics on the first-level discipline, 5 Master programs on the first-level discipline in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science and Technology, Statistics and Software Engineering, 2 Master programs on the second-level discipline in Physical Electrons and System Theory, and 3 Master of professional programs in Software Engineering, Education (including mathematics and physics).

There are 1 Talents and Experts Pioneer Center supported by the Ministry of Education and the State Administration of Foreign Experts Affairs (for Graphs and Network Optimization), 3 A-level provincial disciplines (Class A) (namely Mathematics, Physics, and Software Engineering), 1 provincial Prior discipline (Computer Science and Technology), 1 provincial Top discipline (Mathematics), 3 provincial Leading disciplines (Theoretical Physics, Condensed Matter Physics, Optical Engineering), and 1 provincial Featured Leading discipline (Graphs and Network Optimization).

There are 2 provincial Leading Labs (including the Optical Information Detecting and Display Technology, Solid State Optoelectronic Devices), and 1 provincial Prior Lab, 1 provincial Leading Pioneer Team of Science and Technology (New Solid Photoelectric Device and Technology), 2 provincial University Pioneer Teams (including Mathematics, Intelligent Information Processing), 3 provincial Experimental Teaching Demonstration Centers (including Physics Education, Electrical and Electronic Instruments, Computer Science). The Labs cover an area of over 10,650 m2 and the instruments and equipments value over RMB 100 million. There is 1 influential journal named Teaching Study of Secondary Education (Mathematics) which is jointly run by the college and the Department of Academic Periodicals of the university.

We have been following the idea of the college motto as Mathematics helps calculate from past to future, Physics helps illustrate for the time and space, Information helps communicate with you and me. Under the guidance, we have made comprehensive use of favorable conditions of the discipline of science and technology and the surroundings of teacher education to nurture qualified talents to meet the needs of the society. A large number of graduates have become well-known scholars at home and abroad, chief scientists, chief officials of government, eminent teachers of primary and secondary schools, as well as leading administrators of various corporations.
